Senior Product Developer

About This Role

Join us as a Senior Product Developer to build the core infrastructure powering Mentrex's autonomous coding capabilities. You'll work on cutting-edge AI agent systems, designing and implementing features that help developers ship software faster than ever before. This role combines deep technical challenges with direct product impact.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement core features for the Mentrex AI coding agent platform
• Design scalable systems that handle complex code generation and analysis tasks
• Lead technical decisions and establish best practices for the engineering team
• Integrate and optimize LLM capabilities within the product experience
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape the roadmap and user experience
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
• Debug and resolve complex issues across the stack

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystems
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration, particularly LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Experience building developer tools, IDEs, or code analysis systems is highly valued
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
